My keurig (B-60) coffee maker makes a perfectly good sized cup of hot water with no k-cup inserted. With it inserted, it dribbles a small amount of coffee and never makes anywhere near a full cup. Can anyone tell me why it’s doing this or how I can fix it?

water scale in the pot could be the problem you might putting white vinegar in it to flush out he scale.
The needles that punch the cup can also be plugged

Question by Matt23: World Cup 2010 Betting – do you know of any in the U.K?
Hi Guys,
I’m looking for a company that offers betting on the World Cup 2010. Obviously, there are hundreds of bookies – but I’m not looking for something where you bet on each match at specific odds – I looking for something more points based; similar rules to the famous ‘dream team’ that the Sun does.
So for example, you pay an entry fee of £50 – and write down your predictions, each prediction you get right, you get x amount of points – whoever has the highest points at the end wins
Anyone know of any? It would also be interesting to know who you think would win the world cup, or even if you care lol!

Yes, I do believe there are sites that will be offering this sort of contest–however I don’t think they are updated yet. I just checked Bodog and they will be offering a pick ‘em contest and I think a few other sites will be offering something similar. As we’re still a month away, sites are still updating their info, but definitely check around to find the right book for you. Good luck next month!

I just bought a box of K cups (coffee) thinking they were some new kind of instant. I now realize they were designed for a Keurig machine! Is there any way I can still prepare coffee with these cups without the special machine or should I just return them?

I would return them if they will take them back since they are more expensive than regular ground or instant coffee. If you have one of the older one cup coffee makers you could just open them and put the coffee in your machine – if they actually have ground coffee in those little cups. I don’t know if they have a coffee syrup in them or ground coffee. Or you could boil water in a kettle and make the coffee that way, using a filter arrangement for the top of your cup. You can buy the filter equipment for the top of your cup for about $ 5/$ 10 – if you can find one.

i recently bought keurig cups (K-cups) thinking that i was able to put them in my personal 1-cup coffee maker. however, it says that it should be made with a keurig coffee maker. is it necessary?

Keurig cups, or K-Cups, are meant to only be used with Keurig coffee makers or ones that are compatible with the cups.
